Crystal Heat Sensor

Detects danger in areas where high heat may normally occur, such as in kitchens or attics. The Heat Sensor works by detecting rapid temperature changes and extreme heat. Rate-of-Rise sensors detect heat increases of 15 degrees F/minute. A fixed-temperature sensor activates at 135 degrees F.
